At Moonhounds, we believe dogs aren’t just pets — they’re family.
Based in Chingford, we are lucky to be surrounded by some of the best walking spots in London, including Epping Forest, High Beech and Highams Park Lake. Every walk is designed to be enriching, stimulating and suited to your dog’s individual needs — whether they love long sniffy woodland strolls, splashing in creeks, or calm confidence-building walks in quieter areas.
We keep our groups small and carefully matched, ensuring safe socialisation and positive experiences. For dogs who need one-to-one attention, we offer dedicated solo walks tailored completely to them.
We also provide pet visits and cat care in your home — perfect for feeding, litter cleaning, medication (if required), playtime and cuddles while you’re away.
Your pet’s safety and wellbeing is always our top priority. We are fully insured, DBS checked and trained in canine first aid — because they deserve nothing less.

Our Story
I grew up in Porto, Portugal, surrounded by dogs and all kinds of animals, which sparked a lifelong love for furry (and not-so-furry) friends. From an early age, caring for animals felt natural, and over the years that passion has grown into creating happy, safe, and fun experiences for every dog we meet.
Now, together with my partner, we form a devoted duo, combining our energy, care, and experience to make every outing special. Whether it’s a solo stroll, a playful group adventure, or just a calm walk, we treat every dog as if they were our own—because seeing tails wag and happy pups is what we live for.
